You should never feel hopeless because difficult times always lead to better days. We can see the Sun shining a silver lining around the dark clouds, during the rainy days, which makes it look beautiful. The principle is that whatever may happen to us in this live weather, let it be good or bad, got can and yes make it be good.
As Romans 8:28 says “And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God". The only condition is that we should love God as we must. Even when we can't seem to think positively, even when we feel lost in the depth of discouragement God provides hope. “He Wraps me in his life and reminds me of his presence”. At this time, when we look Over the Horizon and see only stormy clouds, remember the word of God, Deuteronomy 31:6 "Be determined and confident your God, the lord himself, I will be with you. He will not fail you or abandon you".
The word of the lord offers an eternal silver lining to our life. If we are courageous enough to look back, we will see how much we went through in the past, that we thought would kill us at that moment. Our eyes are opened and our visions are clearer. We think. “If I went through that, maybe I will go through this too” And yet the temptation of thinking what is behind us was and is not as bad as what we are faced with today. This is actually true. But we need not forget that at that past time, that situation was just as tough then because of the lower level we were at. Endurance built us and helped us get ready for the bigger challenge- maybe this Challenge. We have all it takes to conquer even this seemingly hopeless situation. Because “God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.” So take heart, when you are in the storm. May the silver lining be a reminder to you that the storm will pass and you will be a Victor. We should be confident that the difficult times will lead to better days.
